What we can offer

Individual Support

Our caring Support Workers can offer practical support and assistance with the things that you need that little bit of extra help with.  This can be either around the home helping with day to day living, or out and about helping with shopping, doctors’ appointments, or gardening etc.

We do not offer personal care but we can offer most other things.

Some of the things we help our clients with include:

Support with shopping and home cooking, carrying out hobbies and training, sorting out bills and budgeting, job hunting, writing letters, organising holidays, walking dogs, day trips and longer respite breaks, providing transport and supporting with doctor and hospital visits, to name just a few things.

You name what you would like to do, and we’ll try and do it!

Befriending

Sometimes some company, support and perhaps a good laugh is what’s required. We can do that!

Our friendly Support Workers can be that person to chat to whether it be out and about, or at home. We know how to listen and help.

Advocacy

The charity can be a supportive advocate for clients.

We support our clients through advocacy cases ranging from dealings with Banks, Benefits Agencies, Courts, Debt, Housing, Police and Utility Companies to name a few.

We can be there if needed as part of our service.

Accessible Transport

We have the use of a wheelchair accessible 8 seater Nissan Primastar mini-bus.

This can be used for getting out and about and important things such as attendance at meetings, social events or hospital visits.

We share the upkeep of this bus with the St. Austell PHAB Club who also have a larger wheel chair accessible Mercedes Sprinter.

Both vehicles are available for private hire and we can provide drivers.

Please contact us about our accessible transport. We are keen these vehicles are used!

Digital Inclusion

We can help anyone access the “digital world”.

With most things in life now going online from payments, appointments and shopping to the signing of documents - we are here to help.

We provide the right equipment and connectivity needed, along with personal computer training and support to help you access the Internet in a supportive and safe way.

We also run weekly online Zoom socials for our clients. A place for us to laugh, socialise and meet each other safely.
