We are a small, caring
Cornish based charity serving Clients across Cornwall.

Offering flexible and practical support to any person with a long term health condition or disability, so that they can live the life of their choice.

Sometimes a little bit of extra support to do what they would like to do is needed. This might be practical help or creating social opportunities, or a bit of both. With the help of our trained and dedicated Support Workers we aim to make this possible.

We also provide an advocacy and guidance service during the not so good times. We are the only charity in Cornwall that offers advocacy and guidance alongside our practical support. We are there for when you need us most.

We know that consistency is so important when it comes to support and care. We match individuals to their own Support Worker so there is familiarity, friendship and an understanding of each other.

Of course, not every person has the same needs and we pride ourselves on our flexibility and dedication to deliver what our clients and key commissioners like Adult Social Care and Community Mental Health Teams require.

Mid-Cornwall Lifestyles offers its unique and friendly service to any person with a long term condition or disability in Cornwall over the age of 16. We do not discriminate by location or type of disability (mental illness or physical disability). Although we are a charity, we do need to charge for our services. Most of our clients fund our support through their Direct Payments.

The Cornwall Disability Alliance is a pan-disability alliance supporting people with a long term health condition and/or disability and local communities in Cornwall and Isles of Scilly to improve their economic and social wellbeing.

The Disability Alliance comprises of 10 organisations which includes, Mid-Cornwall Lifestyles. We all meet regularly to share experience and expertise. Our vision is a fully inclusive and equitable society, with equality of opportunity for all in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.
