Our caring Support Workers can offer practical support and assistance with the things that you need that little bit of extra help with. This can be either around the home helping with day to day living, or out and about helping with shopping, doctors’ appointments, or gardening etc.
Some of the things we help our clients with include:
Support with shopping and home cooking, carrying out hobbies and training, sorting out bills and budgeting, job hunting, writing letters, organising holidays, walking dogs, day trips and longer respite breaks, providing transport and supporting with doctor and hospital visits, to name just a few things.
You name what you would like to do, and we’ll try and do it!

Mid-Cornwall Lifestyles has specialised in individual Support for many years providing services to people referred by a variety of agencies for all manner of support except personal care. We try to offer the flexibility and personalised approach in our service delivery that many other providers do not.
Many of our clients use their allocated Personal Budget and choose to use Mid-Cornwall Lifestyles for their care and support. We offer a flexible service to suit individual needs, work closely with agencies to deliver the agreed care and provide cover for when family main carers need their own break.
Packages can range from 7 days a week to weekly or monthly visits of 2 hrs.
We invoice on a monthly basis by the hour at rates agreed.

We provide the right equipment and connectivity needed, along with personal computer training and support to help you access the Internet in a supportive and safe way.

We have the use of a wheelchair accessible 8 seater Nissan Primastar mini-bus.
This can be used for getting out and about and important things such as attendance at meetings, social events or hospital visits.
We share the upkeep of this bus with the St. Austell PHAB Club who also have a larger wheel chair accessible Mercedes Sprinter.
Both vehicles are available for private hire and we can provide drivers.
Please contact us about our accessible transport. We are keen these vehicles are used!

A referral in health and social care occurs when a professional directs an individual to a service or organisation for additional support. This happens when someone requires practical care or intervention beyond their initial care provider/family member can offer. Referrals ensure people access the right help at the right time.
Our process is key in connecting people to services they need and supports individuals who might have physical health issues, mental health concerns, social care needs or living with a disability or long term illness.
At Mid-Cornwall Lifestyles we pride ourselves on our professional approach and our commitment to delivering lifestyles support to meet your unique needs. We understand that flexibility is key and whilst we do not provide personal care, we do provide a level of support that many agencies do not offer.
