Support Worker with Mid-Cornwall Lifestyles

Our Support Workers are the backbone of our small caring charity.

We pride ourselves on our incredible team of loyal, caring and friendly Support Workers. They will go that extra mile for their clients, many of whom have been supporting the same client for many years!

The role is about creating a good working relationship with the client, helping them to live independently and involves lifestyles support at home and in the community including social activities, budgeting, shopping and daily living requirements.

The role does not involve personal care.

We make sure that our Support Workers are trained in the core modules of care with our online training provider. Each Support Worker is carefully matched to each client.

We aim to support our staff and volunteers so they can support our clients. As with many of our clients many of our staff and volunteers have been with us for years.

A DBS check is required.

We aim to pay as well as we can. In 2024 our hourly rate was £14.00 while the national average was £12.96

You will also receive £0.45 per mile for all mileage costs incurred. A vehicle is required.
